Free Time!

Amanda finally got her new horse. Her name is "Lil Jewel For Easter". Jewel for short. She hasn't done much riding yet. Jewel needs to get settled in first. But she seems like a great horse. It will be nice when she can saddle her up and go. There are a lot of trails out in the desert she can go ride on. As you can see, Brennan gets some free time too. Once in a while he goes fishing with his friends. He's not very good at it, as you can see, but he has fun anyway.

Fun Pics

Just thought we would put some fun pictures on here for everyone to see. #1 She just thought she was adorable. It looks like she was posing. #2 Mommy thought it would be a good idea to let her try some Twizzlers. I think she liked it. #3 Just havimg fun with black and white adding a little color. #4 She's a diaper hat baby. #5 Showin' off some leg. #6 &#7 Growing up together (Keira and Harley). #8 Playing with Grandma Moore. #9 Sharing toys with Daddy at church. How irreverent.

Keira and Harley

Keira loves the new puppy! Harley is one of the only things that makes her laugh. He's a lot more gentle with her than she is with him. She likes to pull on his ears and fur. For the most part he just sits there. We just have to watch him because he would lick her to death if he could. Make sure you pause the music before you push play.

Starting our blog

Well, due to some requests from friends and family, we have started our blog. It is not much at this point, we will try to post new things and keep it some what updated. Just to start things off, here is a small description of what is happening in our lives. Brennan is working hard to support the family. He has a great job that he loves and it gives him plenty of time to spend with the family. Amanda is working hard at home taking care of the best baby in the world. Amanda was raised with horses and has always wanted one of her own. So we got her a horse. It will be here in a few days and she is very excited. Keira is doing great. She is trying her hardest to learn how to crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees, rocks back and forth and then falls. We know she will get it soon. She now has four teeth that she loves to bite us with. We are struggling to find something other than milk to feed her. Everything we give her, she will eat a little bit of and then she decides she doesn't want it and spits it out at us. Now her body is low on iron and we have to give her a nasty supplement that makes her smell like a bag of pennies. Anyway, that is somewhat of an update just to get us started. Enjoy. :)

Vacation in San Diego

This is just a little taste of our small vacation to San Diego. It was fun for us to get away from small town Blythe and have a little family time. Before we left, we went online and found a cool website to get our hotel. We got to stay at the Hilton Resort for really cheap. We got to go to Sea World and see all the animals (And yes, the horse was also at Sea World). Keira could have cared less about any of it, so it was mainly for the grown ups. I know that's kinda sad. But we had fun. We got to play football with a dolphin (it was playing with a football and it would push it over to us and we would throw it back). We were also trying to pet it but it only got close enough once and Brennan got to pet it real quick. So we decided to buy some food for them and pet them that way. Other than that, we saw all the shows and went to the exibits. It's amazing how they can get those animals to do those things. On Sunday we went home and on our way we went to the temple. We didn't think about it being closed on Sunday, so we had to take our pictures from outside of the gate. It was still fun to see. That was all we were able to do. Like we said, it was a "small" vacation.

The beginning...

She started as a bump!

Then she came out, our little lump!

The beginning was a little rough!

But she always remained tuff!

Our little flower model

Isn't she sweet!!! Julia Van Horne and Amanda took these and many more at around 4 months! We thought they were adorable!
